Beneath the iconic Leake Street arches in Waterloo, you’ll find Draughts - London’s most sought after board games venue. In November, Draughts expanded into the adjacent arch, creating a blank canvas for PESCH.
From custom joinery, to bespoke artwork and upholstery - PESCH conceptualised and managed the redesign of the venue.
The main priority was to soften and add warmth to the space, whilst addressing the acoustic issues that inevitably occur within a railway arch.
Taking inspirations from classic 70’s lounge, a warm teak stain was used on all of the joinery. Rich colours and an array of textures were used, to ensure the space felt more premium.
